Another wonderful find with this Coffee. If you like flavored coffee, you have got to try this one. Chocolate and Caramel, how can you go wrong with that combination-you can't.
I buy the whole bean and my krups grinder/coffee maker goes off at 4am and the smell gets me out of bed with a smile. if this coffee tasted like it smelled, i'd pay out the nose for it. The actual coffee taste is a let down. the truth is that this coffee doesn't really taste so wonderful. It smells fantastic. You'd probably get a better chocolate/caramel flavor for a lot less by letting a rolo melt in your folgers and stirring it up. I buy it for the smell, and rolos for the flavor it promises but doesn't deliver.
Awesome coffee. I just wish it had a little bit stronger flavor. But I would buy it again.
I was happy to find it here, as I was down to my last 2 bags, and bought another 10-11 lbs to get me through the year. My triple venti Sbuck$ caramel machiatto is about the only thing that beats it. This has been my primary coffee of choice for several years now and I have found no equal in the world of drip coffee. I've been trying some different brands and flavors here and there, given that supplies will eventually run out, but I still haven't found a good replacement.If you want a really great tasting cup of coffee, try it, just don't get too hooked on it. This and Community are the only two coffees that I serve at the house (depending on the guests and if they like flavored coffees or not). One of my aunts phrased it well a few years back when we served it after dinner, she said, "It was like liquid dessert." I sent her a couple of bags for Christmas.I was crushed to find out a couple of years back that Ghiradelli quit making it (along with all of their coffees), so if I run across it on a shelf somewhere, I wipe them out. And if you decide not to try it, that only means more left for me. :-)
